With just under a month to go until the big day, we’re pleased to announce the agenda for SimCon2! Below is the planned schedule of the events for the two days, including the inaugural SimCon Awards:

Thursday 7th February

1200 Arrive at the hotel and drop off luggage prior to check in. Transportation is available from the hotel to Simwood throughout the day.  A light lunch will be laid on at the Simwood venue.
1300 Introduction to SimCon2 and CEO update.
1315 Dave Horton: ‘A Tinkerer’s tale; A few years wandering the open-source wilderness with Drachtio’
1400 Simon Woodhead: ‘Introducing VoxAP’
1445 Break for refreshments
1500 Jared Smith: ‘Is your network ready for VoIP?’
1545 Simon Woodhead: ‘Introducing SD-WAN’
1600 Neil Brown: ‘Something exciting, important, and legal’
1645 Ross McKillop: ‘GC6 and More…’
1715 Simon Woodhead: ‘Quick Wrap’ and ‘What’s happening next’
1730 An hour to relax and get ready for the evening. Transportation from the hotel to Simwood will be available until late.
1830 Social event with bar and barbecue.
2000 Introduction and presentation by Simon Woodhead with special guest Rachel Riley.
2030 The SimCon Awards.
2130 Wrap up and social event until late.

Friday 8th February

0930 Check-out at the hotel for those who have booked accommodation, including breakfast and coffee.
1000 Dave Duffett: ‘Asterisk and FreePBX update’
1045 Dan Jenkins: ‘Are you using the web platform enough?’
1130 Simon Woodhead: ‘Simwood Architecture Part 2’
1145 FAQ with the Simwood Ops team.
1300 Lunch provided including sandwiches, tea, and coffee.
1300 onwards Transportation available from the hotel to Simwood, a post lunch chat.

All presentations include a 10 minute session for Q&A

Transportation will be provided between Simwood and the accommodation at the start, hotel break, and end of the event.

 The above is the intended agenda for SimCon2 but, as always, events may be subject to change due to circumstances outwith our control.
