A little over a year ago we announced that Grahame Davies was joining Simwood as an advisor. His input has been very helpful and it is therefore with great pleasure that we announce he has agreed to join Simwood more formally as a non-executive Director and serve as our Chairman.

Grahame was a pioneer of Internet access in the UK when, in 1992, he co-founded the first dial-up access provider Demon Internet.

He was Group Managing Director at Easynet Group Plc, a listed pan-European voice & Internet service provider, for six years and non-executive Director of voice & Internet service provider Lumison for 3 years.

He has also been a Director and Chairman of LINX since 1999, was CEO of Astra Associates for 3 years and has served on many Internet industry boards including the IWF and Nominet PAB.

With Simwood revenues growing over 87% year on year, and profitability now reflecting the substantial investment in infrastructure over recent years Grahame’s unrivalled experience and track record in high growth technology companies will be invaluable.
